So I called in sick to work on Friday and not sure if it was from drinking the night before or the cold I had been carrying for about a week but thought I was over. Regardless, I woke up feeling worse than I had felt in a long time. After calling in and laying back down, I decided to get up. I was feeling a bit better and checked my bank account. My tax money was deposited.

I have been looking for a Mattress and planning on buying one for a while. My futon was supposed to be just temporary when I bought it about 3 years ago. Every place I looked at for mattresses seemed very high for what I remembered when I sold them. I remember being able to get a full size posturepedic, mid range for about $500-$600. All of the entry level posturepedics were more than that. Finally I decided to check out Costco. I noticed from their website, they had an entry level, plush, posturepedic for about $500 which was going to be fine for me. Before making the decision I went to one more place. When I asked about Costco, she told me that Costco shoots her in the foot every time with price and even if she gave me the mattress, it would still be more. My decision was made.

After talking to throbbin and him talking to castrowoof we all set out to Costco. As it turned out, they had a better price than what was on their website. We hauled it away at $489, for a queen size, mid level posturepedic so I ended up getting a much better mattress, a larger size, for less. Knowing the posturepedic line, and if anyone is looking, Id definitely recommend Costco.

I looked at ebay as well for a laptop and after finding one, decided to check with a friend in IT who knows computers a bit better. He led me to New Egg which had a great price on a recertified Gateway ML6720 Intel Pentium Dual Core 1.46Ghz, 120 Gig HD for $469. Definitely a great price and great laptop so I bought it. It should be here today.

Finally, a friend who is moving away, asked me a few weeks ago if I knew anyone interested in his Wesco Highliner 16" boots. I said to go ahead and try and find someone else and keep me in mind if he couldnt get rid of them. Finally I called him and as luck had it, Im now the proud owner of these boots which I have to say are fantastic and hot.

Tonight is the recreation of the march for the film Milk so it should be a fun evening. If anyone else is going to be a part of it, and wants to meet, let me know. Hopefully it will be over with early but they did say it could go as late as midnight.
