First, can I say I love seeing myself on the missed connections on craigslist

I replied and sure enough it was me *smile*(and can I say, he was a hot daddy type with grey beard, leather jacket and woofy)

Im so glad the weekend is done. It was exhausting but I grabbed a nap and shower in between running around.

What I learned the most this weekend is I hate the term TNG. I need another acronym to define what I really want to do. TNG it seems, is used too loosely and seems to be defined by a heterosexual community. They are referring to TNG as a youth group. This was out of the mouths of babes.

For me, I tried making the point that it doesnt work like that for the gay community. Its not so much about age as it is seasoned vs newbies. If you are the age of consent or older, new to the community, and looking to learn from people who have been around a while, then I want you to be a part of the group. Just be willing to learn from someone who may be younger than you and around a bit longer. If you are someone who is age of consent, or older, and have been around, know the traditions, know protocol, and open to teaching, mentoring, helping a new generation come into the scene, then I want you as a part of the group as well.

People I dont want! I dont want the ones who will make our younger generation feel uneasy, disrespected, or treat them as a piece of meat. Thats what scares them off (just in case you didnt realize that).

As for the rest of the weekend, I really had a great time. I got to meet so many great people in the leather community, and felt a sense of community from a pansexual perspective. Its nice to feel that connection that bridges the gap between sexual orientation, and gender.

Tonight I rest!
