Ok, so yesterday was a good day. I met up with seeporkchoprun who is a recent addition to SF, and the K9 unit (a nice addition I must say), and we headed over to City Hall for the rally. We ran into downshifft, and his brother which was cool. We stayed about an hour and a half, then headed back to Spikes Coffee in Castro. I really like Spikes and its nice to see a place other than Starbucks making it in here.



Home to watch Sex and the City, which I thought was good. Nothing exceptional but enjoyable as the TV show was. I watched Journey to the Center of the Earth the other night and had to fast forward through the dramatic pauses. It got on my nerves.

Finally David arrived (have I mentioned lately how much I love him?). We got all dressed up and headed to Marlenas for her birthday. My Hayes Valley Leather family was there. I am realizing more and more how much I have gotten from just being a part of this family. I enjoy hanging out with them, and really enjoy having them in my life.

We all went over to Stacks and enjoyed lots of wine, dinner, and cake. There were many people that I adore in the community there and it was a great time. Marlena spoke a few words and started getting a bit teary eyed when she talked about her HVL boys. We were right there by her side.

Finally back to Marlenas for the show. Some wonderful performances, including Michael doing Marlenas signature song, Well Alright, Ok, You win. Lots of cute men, flirting, and pretty much a great night.



Finally walking by the old Welcome Home and actually seeing the huge difference. First, a nice big window in the front, a huge counter in the back left, and just gutted. Im still unsure what the new name is but I cant wait for it to open.
